Highly specialised, the cheetah is the fastest land unprepossessing on earth, achieving an incredible top speed of 120 kilometers per hour. Sadly, this worthiness which is used for hunting has placed the cheetah in uncontrived mismatch with man. In order to unzip these upper speeds, the cheetah requires unshut unappetizing land – the same land man requires for agriculture. This loss of habitat, linked to low reproductive success caused by poor gene diversity, has reduced cheetah numbers to less than 7100 worldwide. The Cheetah Preservation Foundation was founded in 1988, with the principal aim of ensuring the survival of the cheetah and other endangered species, as well as educating our visitors well-nigh the plight of the these animals.
