Lemur Falls Lemur Falls is the only interactive lemur walkout on the South African continent!!! The walkout themed to replicate a Madagascan forest… is entered by crossing a large river teaming with bird life such as spoonbills and whistling ducks - which are native to the exotic island…while volcanic waddle waterfalls provide an impressive scenery to the ethnic Betselio Village rimming the primeval forest. As you glance wideness the forest you will see dozens of piercing vision staring when at you from the upper ethnic Madagascan trees. We house 3 species of lemurs, from the ring-tails to the woebegone and white ruffs as well as the inquisitive brown lemurs. We offer you the unique opportunity to be face-to-face with these trappy and rare primates while our wits department capture this moment on camera for you. The aim of this heady minutiae is to protract providing the wits of memorable encounters at the Ranch with unique and endangered animals whilst drawing sustentation to their plight in the wild of Madagascar. We have moreover proudly entered into an try-on with the Madagascan Fauna Group – whereby a portion of the funds generated through the lemur encounter programs will be donated to the MFG (Madagascar Fauna Group) to go towards their conservation efforts regarding saving lemurs in Madagascar.This wonderful encounter opportunity is unshut to children 5 years and older, and is a unconfined wits for the whole family for any day of the year! Valley of Ancients  Our exploration starts in the ruins of TheUnconfinedTemple... Many years ago an warmed-over tribe built this temple to protect a subconscious valley filled with wondrous animals. Here they performed human sacrifices to the river god Nyami Nyami whose statues still baby-sit the archway today. In 1835 explorers discovered the valley and soon venal the natural resources and people. Trading stores were established and diamonds were recovered from the riverbeds using specially designed crocodile-proof cages. At some point (and we’re not sure when) – everyone in the valley disappeared. Some say the river god became wrestling at the devastation and destroyed all who lived here. In 2006 the valley was rediscovered and it is here that we will be traveling - hopefully with lessons learnt... so that we do not wrongness the Nyami Nyami as well. And without remoter ado, follow us into the Valley of Ancients… A tropical house inhabited by giant flying foxes, the shy undecorous duiker and a magnificent tank offering you an underwater view of Malawian cichlids, will be your first encounter as you enter this warmed-over temple. Our resident Marabou stork, has moved to this heady walkout and now share their new home with endangered Cape Vultures. Venture over this mortiferous gorge via a suspension underpass while 4 meter Nile crocodiles alimony a tropical watch on you from the Cage Diving pool below. It is moreover here that you are given the only opportunity in the world to get close, very tropical ... to these super predators during a Croc Cage Dive. Croc Cage diving Encounter See these mighty strays leap for their lunch and stand in awe of the bravery of your guides as they encourage huge Nile crocodiles to take meat from their hands while standing on a moving jetty! *Please take note of our age restrictions  See the rare Madagascar Ring-tailed Lemurs in the exotic setting of Lemur Island, depicting the environment of Madagascar.Witsthe lemur’s haunting sound and staring vision which led early explorers to think of them as ghosts... Sharing Lemur Island is a group of Greater Flamingos who will dazzle you with their pink plumage. Be enticed into the heart of Africa with the Congo as your next stop where Pygmy Hippos lurk in the murky water. The rare and elusive Pygmy Hippo, once thought to be a victual Nile Hippo, was only classified as a species in 1911.
